Azerbaijani and Armenian parliament speakers agree to sustain dialogue
Baku, May 17, AZERTAC
The speakers of the parliaments, Sahiba Gafarova of Azerbaijan, and Alen Simonyan of Armenia, held their second meeting on the sidelines of the first session of the Organization Committee for the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva.
During their discussion, they explored avenues through which the parliaments of both countries can contribute to the peace process amid ongoing negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The meeting, conducted in a constructive atmosphere, resulted in a decision to maintain the dialogue between the parliaments.
