GABALA EXECUTIVE POWER APPROVES 2004-2008 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
A regional meeting to approve Gabala province related part of the “State Program on Social and Economic Development of Provinces in Azerbaijan Republic (2004-2008)” has been held in the province’s executive power, AzerTAj correspondent reports.
The meeting participants have discussed the work to be done in coming 5-years to solve the tasks set in the program, including revival of tobacco growing, cattle breeding, sericulture, fruit growing, and construction of mineral waters plant, building materials plant, two bridges, and centers for agro-services. They also stressed the necessity to develop tourism sector, construct sport complex and schools, give lax credits to farmers and solve the problem drinking water supply.
