Glen Howard: U.S. understands strategic importance of Azerbaijan

“I think that the U. S. understands the strategic importance of Azerbaijan,” the President and Chairman of the US Saratoga Foundation Glen Howard told AZERTAC.
According to him, the connectivity of transportation through the TRIPP corridor is really strategically important to the United States. “And President Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff has been to Azerbaijan. Afterwards, in Washington, the leaders of the United States, Azerbaijan, and Armenia signed a Joint Declaration, and a draft Agreement on Establishment of Peace and Inter-State relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia was initialed. The State Department is now developing plans for the Trump corridor and through Azerbaijan. So, it's all about connectivity. And Azerbaijan has continued to develop strong and peaceful relations with the United States. And the United States understands Azerbaijan's strategic importance in terms of its value to the West,” Glen Howard emphasized.
