KHOJALI REFUGEES ADOPTS AN ADDRESS TO UNITED NATIONS, COUNCIL OF EUROPE AND OSCE
The address, in particular, says:
“As a result of the Khojali genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijan people 613 were killed - 106 women, 83 children and 70 elders; 1275 taken hostage fate of 150 of whom are still unknown; about 1000 innocent people became invalid 76 of whom were underage children; 6 families were extirpated, 25 children lost both parents, 130 – one of them; 56 of those who became shahids were cruelly and grimly burned alive, their heads were cut off, eyes put out, pregnant women were ripped up with bayonets.
It has been 12 years since we, refugees from Khojali have addressed with a heavy heart and hope, at the same time, to all peace-loving peoples and international organizations asking not to show indifference towards sufferings we have been experiencing as a result of the Armenian aggression. We do not believe that such authoritative international organizations as the UN, COE and OSCE as well ass peace loving powerful countries are unable to force aggressive Armenia to adhere to the norms of the international law.
We are confident that the Global community will condemn the Armenian military aggression against Azerbaijan, promote ensuring territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, return of over one million refugees to their native lands, peaceful resolution of the Armenia- Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh in the context of historical and political justice.”
