Khojaly genocide commemorated in Argentina
Baku, February 25 (AZERTAC). The 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide has been commemorated in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The event brought together political figures, MPs, representatives of the diplomatic corps and journalists.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the country Mammad Ahmadzade spoke of the Khojaly genocide, as well as history of Karabakh, resettlement of Armenians in Azerbaijan.
The event featured presentation of the IRS Herencia magazine`s special edition entitled “Karabakh is Azerbaijan`s heart” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The special edition of the magazine includes articles on Karabakh`s history, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Khojaly genocide, Justice for Khojaly campaign, carpet making school of Karabakh, Shusha jewellery school, Karabakh mugham school and Karabakh`s cuisine.
