Khojaly genocide to be marked in Saudi Arabia
Baku, February 21 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijani embassy to Saudi Arabia will hold a series of events on Khojaly genocide.
The Embassy will adopt statement regarding the Khojaly Genocide and disseminate among the diplomatic corps and members states of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.
A commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide will take place in Riyadh. The books, CDs, photographs reflecting the genocide will be presented at the ceremony. The participants will watch film on the massacres committed by Armenians and visit the exhibition “Khojaly with eyes of the children”.
The officials of the Saudi Arabia and diplomatic corps, representatives of the media outlets will be invited to the event.
The participants will be informed about the events held in Azerbaijan and other countries within the international campaign “Justice for Khojaly” initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, General Coordinator of the Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC) and the website on Khojaly.
The video clip “Justice for Khojaly” performed by “Dayirman” group and Tony Blackman (USA) will be also broadcasted.
