Khojaly genocide`s 21st anniversary marked abroad
Baku, 27 Februry (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Romania has organized an event to mark the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The event was attended by representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in Bucharest, representation of the State Oil Company, chairman of Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, members of Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Azerbaijanis living in Romania.
The participants were briefed on the massacre committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly in 1992.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria has arranged an event to commemorate the memory of the Khojaly genocide victims.
Ambassador Emil Karimov spoke at the event of Armenia`s aggressive policy against Azerbaijan. He said official Yerevan does not honor resolutions adopted by international organizations, including the UN Security Council, Council of Europe and Organization of Islamic Conference.
The ambassador also spoke of the Khojaly bloodshed committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis. He noted national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev gave political and legal assessment to the Khojaly tragedy in 1994. The diplomat also spoke of the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign initiated by vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.

The 21st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held in more than 10 countries of Russia. Participants of the events were informed of the Khojaly genocide, as well as Armenia`s ethnic cleansing policy against Azerbaijanis. They also saw documentaries featuring the Khojaly realities.
The events brought together local officials, representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations, intellectuals, businessmen and students.

Another event to commemorate memory of Khojaly tragedy`s victimes was held in Azerbaijani Embassy in Serbia.
The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan Cultural Center, Serbia-Azerbaijan Commerce and Economic Chamber, members of the Azerbaijani community and students.
Councillor of the Embassy Gabil Kocharli spoke of the bloodshed committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly. The event participants saw a documentary prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the Khojaly tragedy.

The 21st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was marked in Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Tajikistan.
The event was attended by parliamentarians, ambassadors, representatives of political parties, scientific and cultural figures and journalists.
The participants viewed an exhibition on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Khojaly events.
Azerbaijani ambassador Abbasali Hasanov briefed the participants on crimes committed by Armenians against Azerbaijan in various years. He called the Khojaly massacre a crime against humanity.

The Georgian Azerbaijanis Youth Union has held a rally in Marneuli on the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. Chairperson of the Union Leyla Mammadova spoke of the Khojaly tragedy as well as the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign initiated by the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
The participants demanded punishment of the culprits of the Khojaly massacre.
