Memory to victims of Khojaly genocide revered in Turkish universities
Baku, March 2 (AZERTAC). The events to mark the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide took place in the Universities of Turkey.
During the conference in Sakarya University, Azeri MP Ganira Pashayeva, Turkish deputy Sinan Ogan told of massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani nation.
A conference entitled “The last brutality of Armenians - the Khojaly held in Kochaeli University. The participants watched the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s documentary on the Khojaly massacre.
During the conference in Movlana University, the Turkish MP Yusuf Halacoglu cited the Armenian writer Daid Heyriyan`s book “For the cross”, in which he had described the brutalities committed by Armenian troops in Khojaly.
A conference “The Khojaly massacre in the 20th century” took place in Uludag University of Bursa. The participants saw the photo exhibition organized by the office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey and watched a documentary on the tragedy.
