MILLI MAJLIS SENDS MESSAGE ON WORLD AZERBAIJANIS SOLIDARITY DAY
The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has issued a message on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.
“Azerbaijan is on a par with the world`s great nations in terms of both population and intellectual potential. There are few peoples around the globe, who made such a valuable contribution to the treasure-house of the world culture, world literature and world politics, as our people did,” message said.
“Thanks to exceptional services of great leader Heydar Aliyev in the late 20th century, our people entered the third millennium with their independent state. Today, the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is an embodiment of inexhaustible creative energy of our nation, attracts the world`s attention due to accomplishments in all spheres of life under wise leadership of President Ilham Aliyev”
“The Azerbaijan state places high priority on strengthening unity of world Azerbaijanis. The work is going on steadfastly to unify our people into an organized force”
“Our compatriots are able to do much for raising world community`s awareness about Azerbaijani realities as well and popularizing rich culture of our people. Another task of our compatriots is to integrate into socio-political life of the courtiers they live in, cherishing our language, customs and traditions, and protecting national interests”.
