Nobel Peace Prize laureate: We can’t condemn only fossil fuel exporters

"We can’t criticize only fossil fuel exporters, while those who import that energy are also to blame,” Raekwon Chung, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, who is attending COP29 in Baku, told AZERTAC.
Pointing out that he is engaged in raising awareness about the new climate economy, he noted: "I even think that we should blame the importers of fossil energy first. We need to teach consumers to live utilizing more efficient energy. In particular, the population of rich countries should be educated to live a more sustainable lifestyle.”
