Turkey’s Haceteppe University hosts event dedicated to 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide
Ankara, February 25 (AZERTAC). Turkey’s Haceteppe University hosted an event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
The participants of the ceremony watched a documentary film "Khojaly massacre" presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov said the two fraternal countries are doing their best to spread the truth about the terrible massacre, committed by the Armenians in the Azerbaijan’s city of Khojaly, around the world.
MP Ganira Pashayeva, Chairman of Turkish-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group Necdet Unuvar, rector of the Hacettepe University Professor Murat Tuncer, Dean of the Faculty of History, Professor Mehmet Ozbey, and others spoke about the Khojaly tragedy and other massacres committed by Armenians.
