Victims of Khojaly tragedy to be commemorated in Tashkent
Baku, February 16 (AZERTAC). Khojaly massacre victims will be commemorated in a series of events in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on February 26.
The event to be held at the Azerbaijani Cultural Centre named after Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent will bring together public, culture and art figures of Uzbekistan as well as the members of Diaspora organizations, journalists.
Charge d'Affaires of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, Akif Aliyev will spoke about vandalism of Armenian chauvinists.
Participants will be informed about the Justice for Khojaly campaign initiated by Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
According to Azerbaijani embassy in Uzbekistan, the materials on these events will be sent to the Ministry Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, embassies and offices of international organizations.
The event will see demonstration of a documentary “Dead city”, and rap clip “Justice for Khojaly”. The event will show the photo exhibition reflecting the Khojaly tragedy.
