The date is August 8, 2025. Washington hosts a historic meeting. Following 30 years of conflict, this meeting marked an important milestone on the path to peace. With the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, US President Donald Trump, and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the peace agreement was initialed, while simultaneously ushering in a new strategic era in Azerbaijan–US relations.

During the meetings held between President Ilham Aliyev and US President Donald Trump, key agreements were reached on the development of regional peace, security, and cooperation.
