Young members of Azerbaijani diaspora join 31st AFS Youth Assembly

The first day of the 31st American Field Service (AFS) Youth Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, has concluded.
The event brought together young people from around the world, including members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth (ADY) organization from Hungary, Estonia, Canada, Finland, and Lithuania, along with a representative of the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora.
On the first day, which focused on strengthening international cooperation, advancing intercultural dialogue, and developing new joint initiatives, participants had the opportunity to meet young leaders, build connections, and share their experiences.
Nazrin Jafarova, Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth (ADY) organization and Estonia Coordinator, highlighted the activities of Azerbaijani diaspora youth and outlined their future initiatives.
During the Assembly, panel discussions and thematic sessions will explore key issues including global challenges, the role of youth in decision-making processes, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
The 31st AFS Youth Assembly is recognized as a leading global youth platform dedicated to empowering young people to contribute to solutions to global challenges, strengthening leadership capacities, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, and promoting international cooperation and innovative approaches.
