Archbishop Alexander: Russian language is widely used in Azerbaijan VIDEO

“Russian language is in widespread use in Azerbaijan. The majority of Azerbaijani citizens familiarize themselves with the Russian culture, literature and art through the language,” Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy Alexander told AZERTAC on the sidelines of the international forum “Education in dialogue of cultures: Russian school”.
“Russian helps people deepen their knowledge not only in literature but also in all humanities.”
“That’s why the organization of such an important forum here at Baku branch of Moscow State University after Lomonosov is a major event,” Archbishop Alexander added.
