San Remo festival stars perform in Baku
Baku, December 19 (AZERTAC). The legendary Italian pop stars of 80s presented a very interesting concert program “San-Remo festival stars in Baku”.
First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was present at the concert.
The concert featured fabulous compositions performed by super stars of the Italian pop music of 80s - Al Bano, Toto Cutugno, Pupo, Riccardo Fogli, Tony Esposito, Umberto Tozzi, Maria Fiordalizo, Ivan Spagna as well as famous bands Ricchi E Poveri и Matia Bazar.
Renowned Italian actress Ornella Muti and Tural Asadov were hosts at the concert.
Muti said Baku had become even more beautiful. She underlined the concert has become an important event in the cultural life of Baku.
The Azerbaijani song Sary Gelin sung by Toto Cutugno got a thunderous ovation from the audience.
