AZERBAIJAN, JORDAN DISCUSS AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION

Baku, June 22 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador in Amman Elman Arasli has met Jordanian Agriculture Minister Said Masri to discuss the current level of the bilateral relationship and prospects for developing agricultural cooperation.

The Azeri diplomat said his country had started importing agricultural products from Jordan since the beginning of this year. Arasli added the two countries` officials were conducting talks to explore ways of exporting Azerbaijan`s seasonal products to Jordan.

The meeting also exchanged views on possibilities of exporting cattle from Azerbaijan.

The sides also reached an agreement to set up a joint company which will contribute to promotion of the bilateral agricultural cooperation and investment.
