Azerbaijani FM meets OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Pierre Andrieu (France), Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (USA) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.
During the meeting, the views were exchanged on the negotiation process towards the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stressed the importance of demanding, first of all, the withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by the co-chairs in accordance with the demands international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions while speaking about the cases of ceasefire violations.
Adding that withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan would be an important step forward in resolution of the conflict and establishing confidence, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov underlined the necessity of starting serious negotiations on draft peace agreement and expressed readiness of Azerbaijan for that.
At the meeting the schedule of starting to work on the peace agreement was discussed with the co-chairs.
