AZERTAC's "If I Were a Tourist" feature: The next destination is "Little Venice".
One of the most popular recreation areas in the capital, "Little Venice" is located in Baku, on the territory of the Seaside National Park. As the name suggests, it was inspired by the romantic city of Venice in Italy. Since 1960, Baku residents and visitors to the city have been able to experience the European atmosphere in this place, albeit for a short time.
Here, you can rent a small boat and explore the surrounding scenery and the harmony of nature during your journey. This short boat trip offers a blend of relaxation, making this venue an ideal option for both children and adults.
Featuring a total area of 9,740 square meters, the park's canals stretch for 1,350 meters in length and reach a depth of 1.3 meters. 7,000 m³ of water is used to fill the canals.
"Little Venice" goes beyond a typical water promenade, offering a place where one can escape into a dreamlike atmosphere and find a sense of peace, love, and balance.
