Representatives of tourism companies from Poland, Czechia and Hungary visit Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip to Azerbaijan for representatives of tourism companies from Poland, Czechia and Hungary.
The visit brought together nearly 20 representatives of European tourism companies, who explored Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings and visited Baku, Shamakhi, Sheki and Gabala.
As part of the visit, a B2B meeting was held between representatives of the foreign tourism industry and more than 60 representatives of local tourism companies.
The meeting focused on establishing new partnerships and expanding existing cooperation.
In January-August 2026, the number of visitors from Poland increased by 14.9 percent, while arrivals from Czechia and Hungary rose by 0.2 percent and 5.6 percent, respectively, compared with the same period of the previous year.
