Azerbaijan, Israel weigh in on educational cooperation

Rector of the Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has met with Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan George Deek to discuss prospects for educational cooperation.
Nijat Mammadli, adviser to the Minister of Science and Education, Eduard Yakubov, President of the Holon Institute of Technology participated in the meeting.
Elchin Babayev congratulated the guests on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Israel's independence, stressing that that the relations between the two countries have seen great progress in recent years.
Elchin Babayev emphasized the BSU’s interest in cooperation with Israeli universities, as well successful implementation of the dual diploma program with the Holon Institute of Technology, teaching Hebrew in the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
Addressing the meeting, George Deek hailed the cooperation between the two countries in various directions.
