Azerbaijan Sports Academy hosts International Scientific Symposium

An International Scientific Symposium titled “Sport in an Urban Environment: Development of Physical Activity and Sports Opportunities,” dedicated to the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture,” was held at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
The symposium aimed to increase physical activity in urban environments, promote healthy lifestyles, develop sports infrastructure, study the social and economic impacts of sports under conditions of urbanization, and exchange international experience in this area.
During the opening ceremony, ASA Rector Fuad Hajiyev highlighted the development of sports in urban environments, the promotion of physical activity, and the importance of international scientific cooperation.
The symposium proceeded with panel discussions featuring presentations by representatives of foreign universities. The participants presented their scientific and practical approaches to the development of sports in urban environments.
