Azerbaijani expert attends conference on protection of audiovisual performances in Beijing

Baku, June 23 (AZERTAC). Chief of international relations and information supply department of Azerbaijan Copy Rights Agency Natig Isayev participated in the conference on Protection of Audiovisual Performances in Beijing.

The event, which brought together more than 700 delegates from 156 countries and 49 international organizations, was organized by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The aim of the conference is to sign agreement on international cooperation of protection of copyrights of audiovisual performers.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is the United Nations agency dedicated to the use of intellectual property (patents, copyright, trademarks, designs, etc.) as a means of stimulating innovation and creativity.
