Azerbaijan`s Defense Minister meets incoming Belarus Ambassador

Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov has met the newly-appointed Belarus Ambassador to the country Gennady Ahramovich.
The Minister highlighted the activities served to the strengthening of the bilateral trust and the current cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the military field. Mr. Hasanov underlined the contributions of both states to the regional security.
On military-political situation in the region, the Minister said the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was the main danger to the regional stability.
Gennady Ahramovich, in turn, said he would spare no efforts for developing bilateral relations, and cooperation in military field during his diplomatic tenure in Baku. The Ambassador said there were wideer prospects for development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in various directions.
