Azerbaijan’s higher education opportunities promoted in Kazakhstan

Representatives from the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, the “Study in Azerbaijan” project, and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University participated in the International Education Fair (IEF 2026) held in the Kazakh cities of Astana and Almaty.
The exhibition provided visitors with information on academic programs international students at higher education institutions in Azerbaijan, as well as admission procedures and scholarship opportunities.
The event held in both cities brought together more than 3,000 visitors in total.
During the visit, meetings were also held with senior-grade students from general education institutions in both cities.
Event participants were detailed about opportunities for studying in Azerbaijan, the university admission process, the selection of fields of study, and the support to international students.
As part of ongoing efforts to promote Azerbaijan’s higher education opportunities globally, participation in education exhibitions and the organization of meetings are planned in the coming days in the Kyrgyz city of Bishkek and the Uzbek city of Tashkent.
