AZERBAIJAN`S HONORARY CONSULATE OPENED IN STUTTGART
Baku, April 21 (AZERTAC). The inauguration of the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart, Germany, was held on April 20. Former State Secretary of Germany Otto Hauser was appointed Honorary Consul. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Parviz Shahbazov and Honorary Consul Otto Hauser gave a press conference prior to the inauguration ceremony.
Dwelling on close historical ties between Germany and Azerbaijan, the Ambassador emphasized that today Azerbaijan`s economy is growing steadily with stable GDP rise and favorable conditions for foreign investments and realizations of joint projects.
Mr. Otto Hauser emphasized that currently almost 5000 Azerbaijanis live in Germany. ‘Azerbaijan is a significant partner of Germany. Both countries have huge potential for more fruitful cooperation and we should use this potential`, Mr. Hauser told journalists.
Ambassador Parviz Shahbazov, Honorary Consulate Otto Hauser, State minister of Baden-Wurttemberg Helmut Rau, Energie-Gemeinschaft EnBW official Bernhard Bek delivered speeches at the ceremony.
Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan is located in the center of Stuttgart at Energie-Gemeinschaft EnBW business center on Kriegbergstrasse Street, at the foot of picturesque vineyard hill.
