AZERI FM MEETS CHIEF OF POLISH NATIONAL SECURITY BUREAU
Baku, February 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met head of Poland`s National Security Bureau Aleksander Szczyglo.
Szczyglo praised the Azerbaijan-Poland relations, saying there was “enormous potential to boost them”.
The Azeri FM echoed Szczyglo`s words, saying “relations between our countries develop at a rapid pace in a variety of fields, in particular political, economic, humanitarian and educational ones”.
Mamadyarov said Azerbaijan and Poland also enjoy “close” cooperation on the international level.
“The European Union`s Eastern Partnership program opens up broader opportunities for us to strengthen our cooperation.”
The Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed, and head of Poland`s National Security Bureau said his country supported Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Mammadyarov stressed the importance of solving the dispute on the basis of international legal norms, adding it would give impetus to ensuring “sustainable peace and development” in the region.
