AZERI MPS ATTEND CONFERENCE IN TURKEY

Ankara, 22 December (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani MPs Melahet Ibrahimgizi and Gultakin Hajibeyli have participated in the conference entitled “Yesterday and Today of the Silk Way in history of Turkey and Azerbaijan” held at Seljuk University, Turkey.

Addressing the conference, chairman of Turkish-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group Mustafa Kabakchi spoke of role of youth in further boosting the two countries` relations.

Hajibeyli touched upon her country`s efforts with respect to strengthening of cooperation among Turkic speaking countries. She also noted “tough tasks” of youth in this regard.

Among participants were mayor of Konya city Aydin Nazih Dogan, deputy chairman of ruling Justice and Development Party Haluk Ipek and Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic.
