Baku Metro to operate round-the-clock during Eurovision Song Contest 2012
Baku, May 24 (AZERTAC). Baku Metro will operate a round-the-clock service during the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
Baku Metro's operating schedule during these days has already been approved and Baku Metro is ready to ensure transportation of residents and guests round-the-clock.
Accordingly, Metro will operate round-the-clock on the night May 24-25.
The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest helds in the Baku Crystal Hall. The arena has a capacity for up to 23,000 spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
