Baku presents slide-show on 20 January tragedy
Baku, January 21 (AZERTAC). A slide show on 20 January tragedy prepared by the Azerbaijan Photographers Union was demonstrated in front of the Center of Contemporary Art here.
Photos taken from AZERTAC archive were also used in the preparation of the slide show.
The most of the images have never been published and presented until now.
The aim of the demonstration of the slide show is to show 20 January tragedy`s unforgettableness and popularization of Azerbaijani history.
The authors of the photos are Farid Mammadov, Asim Talib, Tahir Jafarov, Rauf Umud, Mehdi Abbasov, Mirnaib Hasanoglu, Tural Aliyev, Vugar Ibadov, Oleg Litvin and Polad Gasimov.
The slide show demonstrated in the open air started with the presentation of materials in Azerbaijan, Russian and English languages reflecting the history of the tragedy.
The author of the project included more than 260 photos is Elmar Mustafazade.
