EMBASSY OF AZERBAIJAN TO RUSSION FEDERATION GEARS UP FOR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

As everywhere in Azerbaijan, serious preparations for presidential elections are also going on at the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation. The process of polling center’s equipping is close to completion: the ballot box, booth, and other facilities are being checked for conformity with international standards. In short, all necessary conditions are being created for Azerbaijani citizens to vote on October 15.

The Embassy’s press-service is more actively involved into the election process. According to press secretary Farhad Agamaliyev, their work is directed to opportunely notify Azerbaijani citizens who will be in Moscow on the Election Day. Thus, beginning from 1 to 14 October, the announcements will be wired on the satellite channel “Inter-Azerbaijan”, placed in newspapers “Azerbaijani Diaspora”, “Azerros”, “Asuda Vakht” and circulated by Russian information agencies “ITAR-TASS” and “Interfax”. The announcement will also be inputted in the sites of Azerbaijani embassy, All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, and “Youth of Azerbaijan” organization.

Most citizens applying to the embassy’s consulate department are verbally updated on the upcoming elections.
