Ex-Schumacher Ferrari F1 car fetches huge sum at auction

Michael Schumacher's race-winning car from the 1998 season, the Ferrari F300, has sold at auction for $6,220,000, according to the RacingNews365.
Listed as 'Chassis number 187', it is one of nine chassis created for the 1998 season and is noted as being an F300 chassis to have a 100 per cent win record.
In the hands of Michael Schumacher, it was used in four victories, winning in the Canadian, French, and British Grands Prix, along with leading a memorable one-two victory at the Italian GP in Monza.
Their 1998 campaign ultimately ended without a Drivers' or Constructors' Championship after a final-round defeat at the Japanese GP, with the top prizes going to Mika Hakkinen and McLaren.
