FOREIGN JOURNALISTS VISIT AZERBAIJAN
Baku, March 3 (AZERTAC). Director Genera of the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency Aslan Aslanov met Wednesday with Director General of the Belarusian Belta news agency Dmitry Zhuk, deputy director of Belta Igor Lutskiy and Director of the international department of Kyodo News Masaru Savanishi. The issues discussed at the meeting included exchange of news, experience as well as technical assistance.
Foreign visitors also met with AZERTAC`s team.
“Celebration of the 90th anniversary of AZERTAC was very well organized and we are going to make use of your agency`s experience in this field,” said BELTA Director General Zhuk.
”I visited Baku in 2004 and now can hardly recognize the city. Everybody eye-witnesses that Baku is experiencing construction book”.
On the bilateral relations, Zhuk said reciprocal visits of the Heads of States help develop bilateral Belarus-Azerbaijan ties, and, “it helped to register a 15% surge in trade turnover amidst overall downturn in the CIS”.
Representative of Kyodo News said the Japanese agency is ready to develop relations with AZERTAC, but “it is necessary to outline the areas of cooperation”. Savanishi also spoke about the agency`s work.
