Khojaly genocide`s victims commemorated in foreign countries
Baku, February 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Embassy to Pakistan has organized a commemoration ceremony to mark the 19th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide.
The event was held within the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign initiated by general coordinator of the OIC Youth Foundation on Intercultural Dialogue of Islamic Conference Youth Forum Leyla Aliyeva.
The participants watched a documentary on Khojaly massacre. The booklets on this tragedy have been also disseminated among the participants.
Pakistan`s most widely circulated English language newspapers “The News” and “Daily Times” published the articles on Khojaly genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani nation.

Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Office in Romania and Azerbaijani Embassy to this country held a commemoration ceremony to mark the 19th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide.
The event brought together representatives of the European Parliament, senators, MPs, Azerbaijanis living here, heads of the diplomatic corps in Bucharest, international organizations, NGOs and media outlets.
The participants were informed about “Justice for Khojaly” campaign initiated by general coordinator of the OIC Youth Foundation on Intercultural Dialogue of Islamic Conference Youth Forum Leyla Aliyeva. The book “Karabakh realities” published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was also disseminated among the participants.

Armenian military forces committed massacre against hundreds of Azerbaijani civilians of a small town of Khojaly in the Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan on the night from February 25 to February 26, 1992, which constitutes one of the worst crimes against humanity. The civilians who tried to abandon the town through humanitarian corridor left 613 dead-most of them elders, women and children.
