Military attachés visit Azerbaijan Air Force’s Aviation Repair Plant

In accordance with the annual action plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a familiarization visit to the Air Force’s Aviation Repair Plant was organized for military attachés from foreign countries accredited to Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The visit included 22 military attachés from 17 countries. The guests were first given a detailed briefing on the history, development stages, and current activities of the Aviation Repair Plant. It was highlighted that the plant is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modernization of military aircraft. Additionally, the plant employs highly experienced engineers, technicians, and aviation specialists.
Following the briefing, the military attachés’ questions were addressed.
The delegation then toured the plant’s production facilities, observing repair, modernization, and other operational processes. The guests expressed satisfaction with witnessing the work firsthand and commended the advanced technologies used and the professionalism of the specialists.
The participants emphasized the significance of such events in strengthening international military cooperation and facilitating the exchange of expertise. They also expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for organizing the visit.
