1 June. President Heydar Aliyev made a speech at the event held on the occasion of International Children's Day.
3 June. He attended the opening ceremony of the "Khazarneftgaz - 97" international exhibition and conference at the Baku Sports-Concert Complex.
10-11 June. He paid an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
16 June. He met with a group of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
18-19 June. He paid an official visit to Uzbekistan.
28 June. He made a speech at the event held at the Ministry of National Security on the occasion of the establishment of the professional holiday of employees of national security agencies.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
