Baku, April 2 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Parliamentary Journalists Union Elshad Eyvazli and vice-chairman, employee of AZERTAC Khatai Azizov have met President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.

The sides exchanged views over Azerbaijan-Turkey relations as well as the role of media in expanding Azerbaijan-PACE ties.

The PACE President stressed the importance of a photo exhibition held in Ankara and Alanya on Armenian vandalism in Azerbaijan.

Cavusoglu said “reporters of the two states must make every effort towards making Armenian`s crimes known to the world community”.

He underlined developing free media is “of great importance” for both countries.

Cavusoglu also praised legal and democratic reforms in Azerbaijan.
