Strasbourg, 28 January (AZERTAC). The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly`s winter session on 27 January has discussed along with other questions the issues of press freedom.

Miklosh Harashti, OSCE special representative on press freedom has again made biased statement related to press freedom in Azerbaijan.

Head of the Azerbaijan parliamentary delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov resolutely protested against the unfair and prejudiced estimations of the media watchdog, saying that the government of Azerbaijan prepares a number of projects in cooperation with the CoE, OSCE and other international organizations to boost freedom of press and expression in the country.

According to him, Azerbaijani media gets full state support to develop and this policy is backed at high level.
