“State of Azerbaijan established on strong national basis”, President Aliyev
Baku, February 22 (AZERTAC). “The distinctive feature is that the state of Azerbaijan was established on strong national bases. At the same time, all residents of the country, regardless of their nationality, are valuable citizens of the Azerbaijani state. Azerbaijan`s experience is, from this point of view, worthy and arouses deep interest”, president Ilham Aliyev said at the opening of the monument to Azerbaijani folk hero Korolgu erected in Baku.
The head of state said there was a notable revival in all fields in the country, including in the national-spiritual field. “We build strong and modern state”, the President emphasized, underlining that “we are also deeply connected to our traditions, our history, and our past”.
Noting the inevitable impact of the process of globalization also on Azerbaijan, the head of state said no country can avoid this process. It is therefore of special importance that the national values should be strictly preserved not to lose national-moral identity. It is pleased that today`s Azerbaijani realities are defined just by these factors”, the President said.
