Turkish Defene Minister: Türkiye will continue to support brotherly Azerbaijan

“Türkiye will continue to support its brothers for the stable development of Azerbaijan,” Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler said in his New Year address on Tuesday.
The Turkish Defense Minister emphasized that the relations between Ankara and Baku rely on the thesis of "One nation, two states". "We see no difference between Türkiye and Azerbaijan in matters of security and peace. We have always supported and will support our Azerbaijan brothers!" said the Turkish Minister of Defense.
Yasar Güler highlighted the historical ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.
The minister also expressed his condolences over the "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) plane incident. “We are deeply saddened by the crash of the AZAL plane, which was en route from Baku to Grozny on December 25. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased, to the friendly and brotherly people of Azerbaijan. We wish the injured a speedy recovery," the Turkish minister added.
