VICE-SPEAKER OF AZERBAIJAN PARLIAMENT MEETS KUWAITI WOMEN MPs
Baku, April 19 (AZERTAC). Vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bahar Muradova has met today visiting Kuwait`s women parliamentarians.
Speaking of the relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, Muradova stressed the role of the two countries` leaders in development of them.
She noted documents signed during President Ilham Aliyev`s visit to Kuwait had created a legal basis for enhancement of “our bilateral cooperation.”
Muradova pointed out reciprocal visits also contribute to boosting interparliamentary ties.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Muradova thanked the State of Kuwait for supporting Azerbaijan`s position on the dispute and providing humanitarian assistance to the IDPs “forced to leave their lands in the wake of Armenia`s aggression.”
Head of the Kuwaiti delegation Maasouma Saleh Al-Mubarak said reciprocal visits contribute to deepening relationship between the two countries. She noted her country attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan.
She reiterated her country`s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, underlining “we support fraternal Azerbaijan.”
