WEBSITE OF 37TH COUNCIL OF OIC MEMBER STATES` FOREIGN MINISTERS LAUNCHED
Baku, 16 March (AZERTAC). A website http://www.oic-oci.org/37cfm/en/ dedicated to the forthcoming 37th Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States was launched.
The visitors could find all necessary information about the session, which is to take place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from May 18-20.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is the second largest inter-governmental organization uniting 57 states, as well as post soviet countries Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The structure was founded in 1969 at the initiative of the Saudi Arabia.
The Organization is a collective voice of the Muslim world and ensuring to safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslims in a spirit of promoting international peace and harmony among various people of the world. In 1970 the first ever meeting of Islamic Conference of Foreign Minister (ICFM) was held in Jeddah which decided to establish a permanent secretariat in Jeddah headed by the organization`s secretary general.
