103 thousand people visited Azerbaijan during Eurovision, Abulfas Garayev
Baku, June 13 (AZERTAC). 103 thousand people crossed the Azerbaijan`s border during 15 days on the eve of Eurovision - 2012 song contest, Azerbaijan`s Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev told journalists.
According to the Minister, a number of delegations, representatives and the people who had come with them were nearly six-seven thousand.
“More than 50 thousand tourists visited Azerbaijan during the contest. This is an indication of the increasing influx of tourists visiting our country,” Garayev added.
The Minister stressed that the contest was successfully organized, and ‘this will boost the number of tourists who wish to come to Azerbaijan’.
