Azerbaijani judo fighters have claimed a first gold medal at the Baku 2017 4th Islamic Solidarity Games.

Female fighter Erdenebat Bazarragchaa grabbed the gold medal for Azerbaijan.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev and President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer watched the final game.

Erdenebat Bazarragchaa defeated teammate Aisha Gurbanli 1-0 in the women`s 48kg weight class. Aisha Gurbanli won a silver medal of the Games.

President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer presented the medals to the judo fighters.

The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the flag was raised in honor of the champion.
