President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have attended a ceremony to lay the foundation of Ganja State Drama Theatre.
It was said that a new building of Ganja State Drama Theatre will be built on the right bank of Ganja River, on the intersection of the Ahmad Jamil and Mirza Abbas Abbaszade streets, outside Mahsati Ganjavi Center. A one hectare land was allocated for the construction of the building. The facility, which will cover an area of 13,000 square metres, will meet modern standards. A 520-hall will be built here. The building will also feature a 150-car underground parking lot, a 100-seat restaurant, a tea house, a café and other catering facilities.
President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of Ganja State Drama Theatre.
