"ASAN Khidmet" innovations presented at UN event in Kazakhstan

Baku, July 2, AZERTAC

The Seventh Session of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) Working Group on Innovation and Technologies for Sustainable Development was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event was organized by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

The objective of the event was to strengthen regional cooperation in public service innovation and technology, promote policy dialogue on advanced governance, evaluate the progress made in 2025–2026, and define activities for 2026–2027.

Semral Aliyev, a representative of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, presented Azerbaijan’s “smart” public services, highlighting the “ASAN Service” model—a successful example of citizen-oriented governance—as well as AI solutions applied in public services and the ASAN AI Hub open innovation platform.
