AMBASSADOR OF JAPAN VISITS GAFGAZ UNIVERSITY
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). On April 23 Gafgaz University hosted the event as part of the Day of Japan. Rector of the University, Professor Ahmad Sanich briefed the audience on the activity of educational institution. Ambassador Masamitsu Oki attended the event. In his address, he has described the foreign policy of Japan, cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in the field of education. The exhibition of Japanese art was also organized at the event.
Qafqaz University was founded in 1993 by the decree of Azerbaijani National Assembly and the approval of the Council of Ministers. In this way, Turkish businessmen started their voluntary contributions to educational services in Azerbaijan through Cag Educational. Qafqaz University was the first foreign private university in Azerbaijan.
