AZAL presents its new BOEING-767-300 ER
Baku, July 14 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan Airlines has presented its new Boeing-767-300 ER liner today.
Named “Koroglu”, the airplane has been flown from US in Seattle directly to Baku. Greeting the airplane at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport were officials of Azerbaijan Airlines, representatives of the civil aviation community and the media.
Possessing a new design and an advanced technical structure, the new Boeing-767-300 ER has 22 business class and 176 economy class seats. The plane can cover up to 14,000km without refueling. This will enable Azerbaijan Airlines to operate flights to the most distant cities around the world.
Vice-President of Azerbaijan Airlines Eldar Hajiyev has told journalists that another Boeing-767 would appear in Azerbaijan in June 2012.
