Azerbaijan among 10 countries most often associated with Silk Road

Azerbaijan is among 10 countries that are most often associated with the Silk Road, AZERTAC said quoting a report titled "Trends in travel along the Silk Road", prepared by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
The report which is based on a survey conducted among 10,678 international travelers, reveals that eight out of ten travelers have heard of the Silk Road, and that 10 countries that are most often associated with the Silk Road are China, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. According to the survey, those wishing to travel on this route would have been even greater if it were possible to obtain a "Silk Road" uniform visa, the report says.
