Azerbaijan and Egypt discuss prospects for economic cooperation

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, met with Ahmed Rostom, Minister of Planning and Economic Development of Egypt, on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the current state and prospects for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
The parties discussed ways to more effectively realize the potential of economic cooperation between the two countries, the formation of business platforms that promote mutual activity, and the expansion of ties among business circles.
The sides also exchanged views on existing opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, industry, energy, tourism, and other areas.
